Somerset , Wisconsin is the permanent home of the Fire Hockey Club. Somerset is a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota - named as "Hockey Town, USA" by SPORTS ILUSTRATED Magazine. Somerset was originally named La Point de la Pomme de Terre, "Ouisconsin" by the first settlers who were French-Canadians from Quebec. The strong hockey culture and tradition in Somerset, Wisconsin is the seed from which the Fire was born. If you think you are made of the right stuff, then you are invited to come try out for one of our world-class elite hockey teams.

Wear a "neutral" (in name/ emblem - color does not matter) jersey under your tryout pullover - PLAYERS TRYING OUT ARE NOT TO WEAR ANY TEAM JERSEY FROM ANOTHER SUMMER OR WINTER YOUTH HOCKEY TEAM UNDER YOUR TRYOUT PULLOVER JERSEY...THE JERSEY WORN UNDER THE TRYOUT PULLOVER MUST NOT SHOW LOGOS OR YOUTH TEAM NAMES OR LOCAL CITY NAMES, SUCH AS FIRE, HUDSON, EAU CLAIRE, MACHINE, BLADES, ETC. ANY EMBLEMS ON HELMETS MUST BE COVERED WITH TAPE.
